RS is an angel. Sweet and gracious. And freakin' gorgeous. Talk about baby blues. We actually spoke. Well, she spoke and I kind of made some sounds. Here I am a grown ass woman with a college education in complete awe of these actresses. Rachel's smile would make angels weep. It is so pure and genuine. When I told her that I love her performance in TLW, she said thank you but kind of smirked a teeny bit as if she wanted to say something and I thought it would have been snarky. But maybe I am projecting b/c in S4 I didn't like the evolution of her character and she might have felt the same way but can't speak out. But she is utterly delightful. RS signed her program pic for me. So did Alexandra Hedison, Janina Gavankar and Honey Labrador. They actually hung w/us (fans outside theater) for about 10-15 minutes. IC did not show. They had a little gathering in the lobby of the theater after the play for the cast and director, producer and crew and friends of these folks. Then JB came through the front door to jet to her car accompanied by a big guy for protection. She did not stop for autographs so I ran after her. She signed her pic in O magazine for me on the fly. Her performance in TVM was outstanding. She was the last monologist to speak. It was a new monologue based upon Eve Ensler's experience of being present during her grandchild's birth. It is called "I Was There In The Room" and JB being a fairly new Mom was emotional. Doesn't take too much for her to tear up. She was the only actress that had her lines down and didn't look at her script. She also spoke the last monologue (2007 Spotlight Monologue). And I know that we snark on the actors and take potshots at them but I have a new found respect for them. Live theater is different b/c they're no do-overs. Our TLW (past and present) women rose to the occasion especially RS and JB. With live theater, the cream does rise to the top. Mama Chaiken should be real proud. JB looked beautiful albeit covered in multilayers of clothing. When the actresses took a bow at the end, JB was glowing, sporting her megawatt smile in an almost childlike manner. Not pretentious at all or trying to steal the spotlight from the others. All of the actresses were excellent. I tried to write down who performed each monologue using their head shots in the program as a guide. Some notable performances other than LW women: My Angry Vagina: Jenny Sherwin, fuckin' hilarious; I Was 12. My Mother Slapped Me. Honey Labrador (her date? friend? partner? was smokin' hot); Hair Brooke Benson or Meredith Scott Lynn; The Little Coochi Snorcher That Could Bridget Gray; The Vagina Workshop Mary Chris Wall; Say It Amy Hill. Sometimes it was difficult to match the actors with their head shot b/c they have different hair styles. RS did the funny monologue (right before JB) about the woman who loved to make vaginas happy and did the different moans emanating from different woman in the throes of a big O. Very funny. She certainly has a comedic touch. JB's performance was so moving. She was a mother seeing her grandchild being born, discussing her daughter's vagina as it's bringing forth this new life. She gazed upward, using her expressive hands. Her hands are beautiful, graceful with long, slender fingers. Her hair was lovely; curly and a bit longer. She looked rested...no bags. She did look thin but toned from what i could tell or imagine ;-) She was driving a gold SUV. Don't know what kind b/c I was too lazy to go look at it more closely. Don't know if it's hers or a rental. JB was taller than me and I'm about 5'6" but we were both wearing heels. The audience gave the actresses a standing O at the end. When JB first appeared on stage and came out of the shadows, there was a palpable gasp from the audience as if to say there she is. No doubt who the big dog is. The bodyguard was a large beefy guy. My guess a rent-a-cop. Not her husband. I met some very nice folks waiting on the line to get into the theater. I wonder if any posters on TWoP know the director of this play. Her name is Leanna Creel. She owns a cinematography and photography business called creelphoto. RS wore a WTF blouse. It was fugly. But her leggings accentuated her long, lithe legs. You've heard of Joseph and his mult-colored coat well JB wore multi-layers of clothing. She wore this gold large link necklace w/a small coin or pendant. It is the same necklace that she wore for the O magazine shoot. Must have significance to her. I asked Alexandra Hedison if she's coming back all exorcised and purified for S5. She chuckled and said she didn't know. Ya know how we laugh about TPC getting all the prime snatch? Well, how does Ellen score AH, dump her and then reel in Portia? Yeah, EdeG is funny, rich and has her own TV show but geez....? I guess that makes her hot. JB is mos' def' a genuine MILF. She looked at least 10 years younger than her age. That's criminal. JG looked really beautiful. No freakin' hats. She has long, highlighted hair. Very slender hot body. She did an admirable job. Some hesitation, maybe a bit nervous. She was a Native American girl. Her monologue was called Crooked Braid. But outside she was gracious and totally cool. You can tell she loves connecting w/the fans. She was just Janina from the Block.

Marlee Matlin is continuing her role as a series regular, Cybill Shepherd's returning at guest-star status, and it's unclear how involved Rose Rollins will be.No mention of Janina Gavankar, so I'm guessing that means Papi won't be back

Именно, вокруг них, опосредованно или непосредственно, вертится вся сюжетная линия фильма. Именно, их воссоединением сериал закончится, имхо. Дженни - ……ну мало ли в мире психов. Чайкин показывает, что среди лесбиянок, они (психи), тоже есть. Хвала Мии, что она сумела показать свой персонаж отдельно от собственной, довольно привлекательной внешности. Дженни воспринимается НЕ через внешность актрисы, она (Дженни) мало кому нравится - это, бесспорно, успех Мии. «Идеал страдания и смирения в кинематографе 21 века». Уверена, именно на эту тему, дети будущего будут писать свои сочинения… Филис – возрастной персонаж, который еще на что-то надеется….таких людей оч много. Таша – тема войны в Ираке для США злободневная. Посредством Таши, создатели сериала демонстрируют свою причастность к этой теме. Джоди – ну тут все понятно. Если человек имеет некий физический недостаток, это еще не повод для его изоляции от общества. Чайкин абсолютно права, что создает и раскручивает такую сюжетную линию. Уверена, что в 5 сезоне, все героини будут учить язык жестов. И это будет показательно!
Мила: Да, уж красивые дэвушки не приживаются в сериале. Интересно, почему? Ведь визуальное значение кино пока никто не отменял :)))
